 SFX 101
Now, you can finally learn Stage Research's SFX from the ground up from the people
who know it best.
Introducing SFX 101, a unique way to get trained first hand on
the nuances of SFX. If you are a school,
a theatre or an individual who is interested in learning how to use SFX from the
ground up all the way to the most advanced topic, SFX 101 is for you.
Simply book two, 8-hour days with Stage Research and we will send a certified
SFX instructor to your site.
Through SFX 101, you'll learn the computer system and all the components important
to operating SFX. You'll get a complete introduction to SFX and a more in-depth
overview of advanced concepts. SFX
101 lessons can also be tailored to the individual, so no matter what level of experience
you have, you'll always be able to learn more than you did before.
An Affordable Education
The cost of our on-site training is very affordable, regardless of the size of your
group. For 10 students, SFX 101 costs
only $1,499 + expenses.* For 11-20
students, SFX 101 costs just $2,249 + expenses.*
Groups are limited to 30 students.
What You Need To Know...
Ideally, we'd like to have no more than 4-5 students per computer system since many
of the SFX 101 lessons encourage the collaboration of the students.
It would also be helpful, but not necessary, to have a computer with SFX
installed. You are required, however,
to have an SFX compatible sound card.
What We Need to Know...
If you are planning on booking SFX 101, we ask for a reasonable amount of advance
notice of at least 4-6 weeks to allow for scheduling and travel arrangments.
Have a list of dates you have available for possible training days.
Also let us know how many computer systems you have including
how many of the systems are running SFX so we can best plan for the training sessions
for you. (You don't need SFX running
on your machines, since the instructor will bring tutorial copies.)
